La Mort Rouge is born from a marriage between La Petite Mort, our dark Belgian style strong ale, and red wine barrels from our friends at Efeste Winery in the Woodinville valley. In La Mort Rouge, we use multiple specialty malts to create a rich, complex beer and then balance that with red wine tannin from maturation in barrels. This vintage was aged for eight months in red wine barrels and then blended. Only 145 cases are produced each year. LIMITED ANNUAL RELEASE - FEBRUARY
