Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha. The heaviest of the Rochefort beers, the 10 is a quadrupel style beer and can be recognized by its blue label.

Una de las mejores que he probado y se supone que de las mejores del mundo objetivamente. De alguna manera logra ser suave aún teniendo una graduación de 11,3% con un sabor tan bueno como complejo, ideal para acompañar con comidas de sabores intensos. Muy equilibrada y un punto que me gana mucho es el bajo amargor. Color marrón muy oscuro casi negro con reflejos rojizos y espuma cremosa color beige.

No niin tässä sitä ollaan, Mr.Nobodyn ja Belgialaisten munkkien jalanjäljissä, maistelemassa aitoa trappist luostariolutta. Paahdetut suklaan, kahvin ja jonkinlaisten yrttien maut tulee aluksi kivasti esiin. Myöhemmin jokin trooppinen hedelmä tai hedelmien sekoitus. Vahvasti hiilihapotettu ja fressi esitys. On hieman Leffe talvioluen ja Cuvee De Noelin kaltainen, jotka maistoin aiemmin. Paitsi että tämä on parempi, pyöreämpi sekä hienostuneempi. Alkoholin maku ei puske lainkaan läpi ja pilaa makuelämystä. Oikein hyvä ja raikas root beer tulee etäisesti mieleen. 'Ei ne Belgialaiset pelkkiä eläimiin sekaantujia oo, osaa ne tehdä bisseeki.'
