Gose is a German style beer named after the town of Goslar, Germany. Goslar was known for its salty water, so the masterful brewers there concocted a brew to take advantage of this touch of salt. We used the local San Juan Island Sea Salt which is naturally dried in the sun and added a touch of coriander. This is a slightly sour ale with hints of lemon, wheat, coriander and salt. Prost!
