Its little brother fiddlehead is a superior ale to this one, retains the bitternesss but not added character as it takes the octane up. Drinkable just not a betterment over fiddlehead.

This is citrusy that leans towards grapefruit with hints of lemon. Also has some pine with a very light dankness taste. Has some very light malt. Finishes dry. Definitely more of an old school taste to it (love that). Overall I see that this is a highly sought/rated DIPA after checking into the previous reviews. I think it is pretty good but I would never rate over Heady Topper. Don’t get me wrong as it is really good but maybe just a tad overrated from a beer community perspective.
