Spring Clean for the May Queen is our now annual Maibock. This beer is the third and final release from our Winter lager brewing season. Maibocks are traditionally brewed strong to celebrate the spring and the end of a long cold winter, particularly appropriate in Vermont this year. This beer features 2 full months of aging to bring out its full bodied character. Its brewed with German pilsner malt, German Hallertau Tradition and Hallertau Blanc hops, and German lager yeast. In a strong beer this yeast makes delicious full bodied yet fruity estery flavors. Some bock beers are dark, brown or amber while Mai Bocks are traditionally golden or pale amber in color. 8.0% ABV
