Miracle Mike had Georgia on his mind when he and his pitbull triumphed during a cosmic mission.  Victory couldn't be celebrated with a glass of sweet peach tea, nope, it needed more of a dank punch.  We brewed this IPA with citrusy hops and orange zest for the occasion.  Then Mike cruised to Planet Orange to watch a spectacular light show:  The Aurora Orangealis.

My son-in-law Ryan brought me another 12 Beers of Christmas from Clown Shoes. We've done this several years now and I have enjoyed each and every one. This time we have nine previously selected beers and three new beers. Can't believe my granddaughter photobombed me. My last review, where I gave it a 4.1, was surprisingly dead on and accurate to my palate. Often when I rewrite a beer, my pallet will have changed and my rating and description will change with it. Not this time. Still the excellent orange peel, still has the peppery background and still an excellent beer. Can't really add anything to it.

Beer number 10 in the Clown Shoes "12 Beers of Christmas". We've really been slow with this 12 pack. So many other beers to try. Very high and very orange head. Lightly hazy, no particulates, deep orange color. Aroma is orange peel with hints of pepper in the background. Light effervescence combines with a soft texture. Flavor is straightforward orange peel. Deep malt and mild hop bitterness is combined with a natural honey sweetness. Flavors abruptly disappear in the finish leaving only the hop bitterness and pepper to rise to the forefront. This is another Clown Shoes IPA made for non IPA lovers. Mild hops and easygoing flavor make this very drinkable. Only the finish, which seem to quit on the beer, held it back.
