Slap Happy is a simple amber that we spice up with some rye in the mash. The rye adds some earthy spiciness to the beer and also helps to dry the beer out a bit to let the hops show through. The malted rye is complimented by Mt. Hood and Sterling hops. The Crystal hops cut through the spiciness with a little lemony floral aroma and flavor. The end result is a malty beer with an earthy floral hop presence that finishes dry, with a light hop bitterness.
