Marvellous. Strong, complex hop flavour in a wickedly bitter 8% beer. Surely a fine example of the best of traditional English beer.

It pours dark red, almost brown in colour with a frothy, cream coloured head. Aroma is of brown sugar. Flavour is sweet of brown sugar, toffee and malts. One of the best beers from Fullers I have tasted.
