Copious amounts of Columbus hops (herbal, earthy, bitter) & Centennial hops (floral) were added midway through the boil, with additional Centennial dry-hopping thereafter, to create a well-balanced dark ale with hop-forward aroma & flavor, while keeping the bitterness in check against the roasted malt backdrop.
