The second in our series of authentic abbey ales – Alpine Abbey 8 – Brewed in the style of a Belgian "Dubbel", which originated at monasteries in the Middle Ages, and was revived in the mid-1800s after the Napoleonic era. Amber in color, this Dubbel has an heavenly balance of rich, complex malt with hints of chocolate, caramel, and dried fruit. Even with all that flavor, it has a dry finish that makes you pray for another glass. À santé! (To Your Health!)
