This beer is our version of an English Mild, and it finishes drier than most Milds. It is fruity and estery up front with hints of caramel, chocolate and dark dried fruit in the background. We used Maris Otter, English Crystal and English Pale Chocolate for the malts, added East Kent Golding hops in for bittering, and finished off with a classic English yeast strain. In fact, only the water and the brewers are American! Mild Success makes for a terrific session beer to share with your mates.
