The clue is in the name. A rich golden coloured strong ale. The name is derived from the days when sailors from Merseyside would demand full rations. The high level of alcohol is complemented by increased bitterness and the fruity hop finish is derived from a combination of Fuggles, First Gold and Cascade hops. A real favourite.
