The light copper color comes from the slightest amount of darker German malt and we use a late hop addition of German Perle to give it spicier nose.  So yeah, it's a little more "American" than a true German Oktoberfest, but hey, we're in America.  We made more this year than last year.  However, with it's easy drinking quality, it won't last long.
