The most straightforward of the bunch, this English Pale isn't your typical American "hop-shocker." This light golden brew smells of biscuity dry malts and herbal, spicy hops. The flavor is the cleanest of Hogshead's offerings, showing less yeast character in fruitiness as well as earthiness. But watch out, because on cask, with various dry-hops, this one can go in all sorts of directions.
