This is the first ale by brewster, Emily Thomas, co-owner of Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing. Thomas brewed up her first batch of brown ale in the bathtub of her college apartment almost ten years ago. Now she is brewing up thousands of gallons at the brewery and winning awards for it. Winning the First Place Ribbon in 2006 at the California State Fair, the Dread Brown Ale has been getting great attention ever since.
