This 8.3% ABV traditional German Weizenbock (Wheat Bock) offers a rich, complex flavor profile combining the dark bread, dark fruit (plum, raison) flavors of a German Bock beer with the background banana / clove and dough-like character of a Hefeweizen. Like other German wheat beers, this beer pours cloudy and is dark like a bock. Despite the high ABV, Western Swell is very smooth and easy drinking in part due to our softening of the water profile and brewing process (step mashing and cold fermentation).
