This West Coast IPA is fermented with 100% wild yeast. It is the first beer in our Funk'n'Wild Series. Brettanomyces bruxellensis var. Drie produces big, tropical fruity aroma and flavor. It is paired with hops of a similar profile. This beer is bright, juicy, and citrusy with complex, earthy undertones. It opens up with a big, fruity nose reminiscent of mangoes and pineapple. This is followed by a deep and complex fruity, pineapple-like flavor that hops alone would not have been able to provide. It finishes dry and tart with some complex earthy notes.
