Brewers Special Brown Ale is a robust brown ale full of roasty and chocolate malt character with a deep, bronze body and a substantail foamy, light tan head. Starting at 6.6%ABV this ale is a testament to the craft of the American Brewer, with a hopping rate of 33 IBU's to balance the malt. After 6 to 8 months resting in Woodford Reserve ® Bourbon Barrels it is then carefully blended to perfection with some freshly fermented Brown Ale, the resulting brew is a sublimely delicious melding of beer and whiskey with a final ABV around 7.1%.
