Funky Sea Monkey is a Collaboration with Arne of Marin Brewing. We decided to take on this endeavor after a few drinks during GABF in Denver. The beer pours Charcoal in color with a slightly grey head. What gives it this unique quality? SQUID INK! If you close your eyes, it presents itself as a traditional Gose - Lightly tart with a medium body and biscuity finishing notes, the coriander is almost imperceptible but the salt is noticeable. The flavor says "enjoy on a hot December San Diego day" but the color says "enjoy on a cool foggy San Francisco evening".
