A Bourbon barrel aged version of our flagship brown ale, Restraint. The Bourbon barrels were on their second use, having previously aged Bad Scene for a year, so we added a touch of cocoa nibs and coffee into the beer to make up for some of the flavors lost in the hand-me-down barrels. Barrel Aged Restraint has a ton of complexity, showing off chocolate, bourbon, sweet maple, vanilla, coffee, oak, and nutty notes. ABV: 8.5%, IBU: 50, SRM 30.
