Unit 28 is all about the hops! Galaxy, Simcoe, and Mosaic to be exact. Huge aromas and flavors of peach, tropical fruit, pine, and citrus dominate. Unit 28's malt profile hides in the background, allowing the hop qualities to shine through. Even still, a small use of specialty malts and wheat give this beer a complex and interesting base. As expected, this beer also packs a nice bitter punch and finishes dry. ABV: 8.7%, IBU: 100+, SRM 4.8.
