We drew inspiration for this beer from earlier memories of drinking craft beer in the Pacific Northwest. Slightly fuller bodied with a tad more malt character and yet still a nice hop presence. Basically, more balance to the beer. Though the caramel malt sets a nice base for the beer, the hops are still very fresh and in the forefront. For Throwback we used Cascade and an Australian hop called Summer, which impart some nice citrus and floral notes.
