
This is a true own-creation hybrid ale. Again, almost 100% German grain, including a touch of rye, a combination of US and German hops in both bittering, flavor and dry hops additions, fermented with a classical California yeast and you have something truly unique. The dark color (SRM 12) resulting from heavy usage of Munich, rye and a smidgen of Crystal malts are the backbone of this super-malty IPA. Of course there is technically no such thing as a German IPA, just as there is no such thing as unicorns. But we believe. You should too.
