Our Russian Imperial Stout is one of the biggest and most full bodied brews that we have produced here at Bang the Drum thus far. The use of quality English base malts coupled with several dark specialty malts helps create a rich and complex profile. Aromatic notes of roast malt, chocolate and vanilla are first to hit the senses, and are followed by dark caramel and a mild bourbon character on the palate. Earthy bitterness and a stone-fruit ester character add balance to the big malt backbone on this Russian Imperial Stout. Enjoy!
