Juicy Tree is an experimental India Pale Ale made with blue spruce tips, juniper berries, and cranberries. Big aromatics of piney evergreen and sweet berries tingle the senses. After some slightly tart and tangy flavors up front, a harmonious balance between pleasant fruit sweetness and bitter pine is reached. A sizable malt bill, ample hop additions, and the floral qualities of American Ale yeast, all contribute to symmetry of this beer.

Piney hop bitterness, spruce and cranberry. I enjoy this in a different way than I did last year. I guess since I've drank a ton more IPAs since then, among other beers, I can enjoy this for the IPA it is. Still quite unique, still a 4/5

This is probably the most interesting smelling IPA, or beer for that matter, that I've ever smelled. I don't even know if I can describe what I'm smelling. It smells like it would make a great Christmas candle. Kind of a spicy pine aroma. Like what you would smell in a potpourri shop around Christmas time. That's the best I've got. Taste has a moderate piney hoppiness, followed by slight cranberries and almost has a floral taste mid-palate to the back end. This is quite unique and I like it a lot. Not sure how often I'd want to drink this, but I can see this being a repeat every Christmas season. It's a Christmas IPA, as strange as it sounds. I almost want to give this a 4.25/5, but it's definitely a high 4/5
