Light whiskey and sweet caramel in the aroma. Taste has caramel first, followed by whiskey, vanilla and oak. Whiskey lingers in the aftertaste on the back of the tongue. Medium-ish body with a medium-high, slightly prickly carbonation. I wish the carbonation was less. Tasty whiskey barrel aged amber ale. I'd buy this again. 3.75/5 As I finished the glass, the carbonation died off a great bit, making this beer much more enjoyable. My recommendation is to pour this straight from the fridge and let it warms in the glass, rather than in the bottle. 4/5
