Still deep in the grip of winter this sumptuous warming beer is sufficiently well hopped to provide balance, which can come in handy when there’s black ice around.

Flavours are a bit on the watery side, as is the appearance. Mellow stone fruit mingles with a non offensive dark mild. Nothing to get took excited about but a nice enough beer, nonetheless.

Very standard black IPA. More like a watery porter. It’s easy to drink with a weak dark chocolate taste
