A full bodied stout measuring in at just over 8%. This creation is brewed using both Kona and Sumatra coffee then aged on cacao nibs.

Side by side review with the whiskey barrel aged version.
Aroma: Coffee, sweet chocolate, roasted malts and vanilla.
Taste: Huge coffee up front, followed by roasted malts, dark chocolate (unlike what the aroma indicated) and a slight bit of vanilla. Coffee and roasted malts linger in the aftertaste.
Body and carbonation: Medium+ body with an appropriately lower carbonation.
Overall: Delicious coffee stout. Would gladly purchase again. The whiskey barrel aged version is better (of course), but I'll give credit where credit is due. Well worth a try. Definitely doesn't drink like it's 8% abv; drinks more like 6%. 4/5
