This roggenbier is served with yeast, like a hefeweizen, which along with the rye malt gives the beer its hazy appearance. Tawny in color, with rich spice and banana in the nose. Grainy, earthy flavors from the rye blend with the spiciness from the yeast, and balanced by smooth caramel notes. Medium bodied with a silky mouthfeel and slightly sweet finish.
