Olde Number 33 is a big, smooth, dark ale that is sort of an Imperial Sticke Alt. It is based on the recipe for our Olde Number 22 German Alt but all of the ingredients were increased by 50% for a fuller, richer, higher-gravity brew. Although dark in color, the Olde Number 33 is not brewed with roasted malts so there is no bitter malt bite.
