This sour started its journey as Wenceslas, an old ale brewed in the winter of 2014. Deep dark brown, with caramel sweetness, juicy grapes, and mild wood character in the nose. Begins with lively tartness, and more of the grape character. Medium bitterness blooms into a smooth finish, with a lingering burnt toffee note.
