Named after the brightest star in the constellation Taurus, known as the Eye of the Bull, Aldebaran is a Belgian-Amber-American-IPA hybrid. Belgian yeast contributes spicy esters, while the malty flavors of caramel and toast are the backbone of this beer. It gets really interesting with spicy, citrusy hop aromas escaping the thick, white head, and the high effervescence delivers a surprising bitterness. Big in character all around, with a pleasant finish.
