This classic Berliner Weisse boasts a light, lemon-peel aroma with a very mild pleasant acidity and just a hint of wheat character. The spritzy, tart, lemon character follows into the flavor, alongside notes of ripe apricots and a hint of pear skins. Traditionally, an optional shot of raspberry or woodruff syrup can be added to cut the acidity, if desired, but we believe this beer can stand on its own just fine. Nicely refreshing with a pleasant lingering tartness.
