The second brightest star in the constellation Gemini was the inspiration for this deliciously hoppy beer. Castor follows the same recipe as Pollux, differing only in the hops used. A new experimental Michigan hop was used in brewing, delivering notes of lemon meringue, to nicely complement the bready, toasted malt character throughout the brew. The ABV exists somewhere in between a Pale Ale and an IPA, hence the name "Extra Pale." With a color reminiscent of an April sunset, this beer gives us something to look forward to in the later months of winter.
