We've played around with Nut Browns in the past, accidentally freezing one into an Eisbraun a while back. This twist is to use our Bavarian Weizenbier yeast instead of our house ale strain. The German yeast brings out rich notes of banana, which coupled with the walnut and sweet malt flavors, creates an exciting brew reminiscent of banana nut bread. Remember that the monks used to fast on this kind of thing! Liquid bread it is!
