Our oatmeal stout got the bona fide bourbon barrel treatment, aging for nine full months in Kentucky bourbon barrels previously used to age Black Panther Imperial Stout.  Residual character from the barrels' previous contents, along with the portion lost to evaporation (the "angel's share"), have fortified this already sturdy stout.
