CoHOPeration Lager grew out of a collaboration brew between Pelican Brewing Company and Red Rock Brewing Company of Salt Lake City, Utah. Both previous "Large Brewpub of the Year" winners at the GABF, the idea and design for this beer was hatched between Darron Welch and Kevin Templin, brewmasters of Pelican and Red Rock.
