Smells hoppy. Tastes hoppy, but maybe a bit of smokiness to it as well? Nothing to dream about.

Bringing the funk from NZ. This is a decent IPA but doesn’t have the punch I love, feels like a hybrid lager but drinkable. Not bad but not great!

Très fruitée mais aussi ronde et maltée, toujours accompagnée du houblon. L'amertume est moyenne, mais toujours présente.

Sophisticuffs packs a punch but it's no TKO. A random buy, an IPA from Funk Estate based in New Zealand. Firstly funky design on the can (which made me pick it, I'm a sucker for a good design). Aroma is nice. First sip, yeah it packs a punch. Very malty IMO. Hops make an appearance in the aftertaste. Slightly pundged at first but that mellows the more you sip. I find it a little heavy, but that could be personal preference. The more I drink it the more I like it. 6.0% but doesn't taste that strong. Overall, a damn good IPA. A well balanced beer. Definitely worth trying out.
