This reddish-brown coloured ale has caramel and nutty aromas. Flavors of sweet malts and nuts hit the palate with a light-medium body. A beautiful, highly drinkable English Brown for winter or any time of year.

Roasted aroma and flavour. Disappointing as I was expecting a little better from Ridgeway as they usually brew some decent beers. Maybe specially brewed for the export market.

At first it has a toffee with some roasted nut to it It just doesn't hold true the longer you drink it. I liked the initial taste. The first couple of sips were good. It just doesn't hold up and becomes an average English brown ale at best. I'm guessing it is a mass produced beer for you guys in England & nothing special - Ridgeway Brewing - Nut Browned Ale.
