Cha Chaan Teng Gose / 鹹檸啤
4.0% Grodziskie / Gose / Lichtenhainer
Gose, a beer style native to the historic German town of Goslar is the basis of our distinctive Hong Kong take. Inspired by the beloved Cha Chaan Teng thirst-quencher, Salted Lime Soda, 鹹檸七, this beer is refreshingly tart with a thirst-quenching minerality that pleases beer geeks and novices alike.

Get the sour lime hit but not sure the saltiness of the after taste works for me

Nosing : strong yeast , marmite. Strong burst of acidity all the way. Zing of lime and the sourness of lemon ending with a marmite after taste. It also have the salted lime flavour. Noticeable flakes in the beer itself. This is a very single profile flavour but the slightly higher rating is due to the uniqueness of the beer. This is the most sour beer I have tasted, very special. Might be one of the most sour beer in the world if not the most. This beer has piqued my curiosity to further look it up. Hkd 25
