Having just returned from North Yorkshire I've popped round to The Sally for a couple of beers. It's busy as always on a Sunday evening - and it's all very exciting as Pete has built a new bench which we are all gathered around. Doesn't get much better than that. As the beautiful summer sun fades I finally get to taste the new Double IPA brewed about 20 feet away. It's everything you would want - golden, fruity, hoppy and fresher than a newly blossomed flower. Rolls beautifully around the mouth and coats it with sweet and sharp flavours that can't fail to make you smile. Winner.
