In general it is a good beer, but the honey taste is not so evident...

Friday night (theoretically) - tunes, talking nonsense and good beer. That's what it's all about. At this point, I was about to bang into Mrs B's wine, until I found this fella in the back right of the fridge. It's not a fruit filled crowd pleaser - but does have it's place. Golden in colour, it's soapy and buttery with a sharp finish. Stroud Brewery is just up the road and fully organic. It has a great tap room that does wood fired pizzas - and they can be relied on for quietly satisfying beers. There is no cannon blast with this one. It's a sniper that takes you out with a velvety hop bullet. Good stuff.
