Roasty coffee and some lactose in the aroma. Taste has coffee, chocolate and some sweetness, presumably from lactose, even though it's not an advertised ingredient. Maybe it's vanilla from the barrel aging, because now I'm definitely getting some bourbon. Yes, bourbon and oak are coming through with the vanilla, in addition to the coffee and chocolate notes. Decent complexity, with all the ingredients working well with each other. Well done. 4/5

Bourbon and a little bit of coffee in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, oak and some coffee. Not very coffee forward, but what's there is tasty. Nice medium bodied beer with carbonation on the lower end of medium. If I drank beer for breakfast, this would probably be a pretty good one to drink. Tasty beer and a good addition to my coffee beer night. 4/5

Tasty porter with coffee. Stronger coffee would make this great. 3.75/5

Fairly pleasant bourbon smell, nothing overpowering. Cherry and vanilla. Taste is similar. Not too strong, somewhat sweet. Better than expected.

No Bourbon taste at all. Strong coffee flavor with medium bodied Porter. It's ok but nothing special.
