Towards the end of a week that has taken in London, Bristol, Birmingham and now Manchester, I find myself in The Piccadilly Tap on the way home. I'm sure this place deploys a tractor beam as I walk past. This is a decent Amber Ale from the dependable Wiper and True - it's not a world beater but is very welcome nonetheless. Looks like well brewed tea with a splash of milk and is malty and crisp with a sharp edge. A bit thinner than expected given the strength, but chewy enough to satisfy. It's definitely improved my mood - which is always a good gauge.....
