The beer is totally opaque and black with practically no foam at all. Scent is sour fruity with a peculiar combination of brown sugar, black cherries, oak barrel, vinegar and balsamico.
The taste is equally sour and acidic with powerful notes of long fermented black cherries, cranberries, balsamico and white wine. The body is medium-robust. Finishes with very sour citrus that lingers on tongue for long.
Mouthfeel is white-winey, very tart, tangy and dry. The mouthfeel is also oily and exceptionally thick for the ABV of 5.5 % as well as relatively full.
This is a fantastic peculiarity, definitely challenging but nicely rewarding if you happen to be in for sour ales.
