Tuoksussa laktoosia, kahvia, lakritsaa ja hieman karvautta kahvista. Suutuntuma pehmeä. Maussa kahvia, kirsikkaa, luumua, lakritsia, suklaata, sekä hieman makeutta. Jälkimaku maitosuklainen.

Going the full five on my second try of this beauty! I can't see how it could be better. The coffee selected here is perfect, strong but sweet. The use of cherries is inspired, not overpowering and gives a rich depth of flavour squaring up alongside the big malts. It's thick and chewy and unctuous, not a session beer but as a nightcap or for one by the fire, simply perfect!

Northern Monk take a bow! This is a simply amazing beer. It's an Imperial Porter with the addition of morello cherries and Peruvian coffee. I'm not a fan of cherries but they're just in the background adding depth. The coffee comes through but it's sweet and strong in equal measure. It's so smooth and unctuous in a great way, seriously tempted to give this five, I'll have to try it again! Such a shame these are limited editions 😔
