I've had coffee in lots of beers, usually porters, occasionally stouts. I've never had a coffee wheat beer though so I though 'that's interesting, I'll try it'. Does it work? No. It looks like the urine of a seriously ill man, a sort of murky reddy brown colour. It tastes like weak, quite sweet, fizzy coffee. I'm a coffee fan, but this tastes like drinking the thin bubbley saliva of someone who had a tiramisu half an hour ago
