Dark copper coloured classic german top fermenting beer from the historical region of Westphalia and Düsseldorf. Hailuoto Alt is following the german Altbier tradition, combining the top fermenting character with a bottom fermenting Lager style, to give it a cleaner taste compared to British ales. Moderate malt taste and classic german hop aroma makes this beer an elegant and tasty drink which has a long history and was widespread in whole Germany before the bottom fermented Lager beers took over.
