You can smell the wild yeast. Initial malts give way to a subtle banana-like flavour.

I'm a big fan of blackjack beers, so when the incredibly knowledgeable bar staff here at The Tap described this beer as having been brewed with added "farmhouse" yeast, it didn't put me off. I'm glad I took the plunge, there is loads going on in this beer, it's bitter, fruity, smoky, lots of roasted malt and has a very odd yeast character, reminiscent of a lambic. Superb brown ale.
