Zwierzyniec Pils is the Bohemian Pilsener beer with a light colour and perfect clarity. As other products of this kind, this beer is obtained as a result of bottom fermenting. The delicate golden colour is complemented by optimal carbonation and creamy white, thick head. The beer has an unenhanced, clean aroma and a well-balanced malt and bitter flavour.

Semi industrial looking label on this one isn't much to look at but books and covers and all that.
Poured easy and gave an almost amber coloured body with a mild hue. A little light to be an amber though, maybe closer to a Vienna lager but just a little short. There was two fingers of foamy head that didn't last but there is lots of lively catbonation to keep things interesting.
Scent is biscuit malt, some doughy bread, roasted barley and a little hint of wheat at the end. The mouthfeel is crisp and medium bodied with a very light, syrupy under current carrying through the foamy body. The foam is ruffled by the carbonation which nicely added some edge.
Taste is doughy bread upfront, with a spike of both copper, and caramel, not unlike a red ale. Biscuit develops out of the caramel and maintains a sweetness but increasingly subtle, before barley and wheat arrive and conclude the proceedings.
Much better than I expected, an all round great pilsner.
